CONTRACT COMPARISON
This contract comparison document measures our new contract with the contracts of our fellow pilots at Air Wisconsin, ASA, Chautauqua, Comair, Eagle, Express Jet, Great Lakes, Gulfstream, Horizon, Island Air, Mesaba, Piedmont, Pinnacle, PSA, Skywest, and Trans States.
In September 2007, we set out to become the industry leader. In order to reach that goal, we developed a two-step process. Step one—to achieve a short-term agreement with immediate scheduling and quality of life improvements—is complete, and we are ranked in line or above our peers in many key areas. Now we are preparing for the second step in the process to achieve things such as pay rate increases, more guaranteed days off, retirement, insurance, and other quality of life improvements.
In 2010, we’ll be back at the bargaining table. We are within striking distance to becoming the industry leaders, and are confident that our combined strength and spirit will enable us to achieve our goals. |
